Giovanni Ravelo

Giovanni Ravelo’s first job at BTOS was with the legendary Mr. Henry Danton — and from that moment, he became a cherished member of the Ballet Theatre of Scranton family for many years as a teacher, dancer, and choreographer.

A native of Colombia, Giovanni’s career includes performing with the National Ballet of Colombia, The Roxey Ballet Company, Northeast Youth Ballet, Contrast Dance Theater, Les Ballets Grandiva, and the world-renowned Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.

We are thrilled to welcome Giovanni as part of the August Intensive this year! Students have so much to learn from his artistry, experience, and passion for dance.
